2-Day 1-Night Cat Ba Island & Lan Ha Bay Tour In Summer: Explore The Dreamy Seaside Bay

DAY 01 | HANOI - HAI PHONG - CAT BA ISLAND (LUNCH/DINNER)

Morning: The Vietnam Booking bus will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter and at the Hanoi Opera House, then head to Hai Phong to begin the 2-day 1-night Cat Ba Island & Lan Ha Bay tour. On the way, you can admire:

• Tan Vu - Lach Huyen Bridge: The longest sea bridge in Vietnam, connecting Dinh Vu with Cat Hai Island, Hai Phong city.

Noon: Upon arrival at Cat Ba Island, enjoy lunch and then check in to your hotel.

Afternoon: Relax and enjoy the beautiful beach scenery. You will have free time to swim and enjoy the beaches of Cat Co 1, 2, and 3.

Evening: Have dinner, then freely explore Cat Ba town, the main tourist center of Hai Phong, and visit the Night Market.

Overnight in Cat Ba.

DAY 02 | GUN POWDER FORT - BRIGHT CAVE - DARK CAVE - VIET HAI VILLAGE - HANOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

Morning: Start your day early to stroll around the island or take an electric car (or motorbike) to visit "Gun Powder Fort". From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding islands.

Afterward, enjoy the sunrise over the sea and perhaps enjoy a morning coffee in the fresh air of the pristine island. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Next, head to Ben Beo to board a boat for a tour of Lan Ha Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the world:

• Cai Beo Floating Fishing Village: A peaceful village where you can capture the busy fishing boats. You can also take photos when passing by Hon Dua and Hon Cu Rua.
• Viet Hai Ancient Village: A unique experience exploring this ancient village by electric car, passing through forests, caves, and fields to reach this small, tranquil village nestled within Cat Ba National Park. Here, you can listen to stories about the area and taste local wine made by the villagers. A special treat awaits as you enjoy a Fish Massage in a natural stream before returning to the boat.
• Luon Cave - Tay Keo: Experience kayaking through Luon Cave, which has two water flows. Inside, you'll see a variety of stalactites that enhance the cave’s natural beauty. Afterward, continue to Bright Cave where you can marvel at the magnificent scenery. Travel through the cave and reach a valley surrounded by tall mountains. Stop to rest and enjoy the fresh air.

Noon: Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring Cat Ba specialties.

Afternoon: Visit the Ba Trai Dao area or Van Boi Island (depending on the tide). These areas are among the best beaches in Halong Bay, perfect for fun activities.

After the visit, head back to the pier. Then, travel by bus back to the hotel to collect your luggage and depart for Hanoi.

Evening: Arrive in Hanoi, the bus will drop you off at the designated point. The guide will bid farewell, and the tour concludes with hopes of seeing you on future affordable tours!
